COVID-19: Latest Update Regarding Exams, Assignments, Study Materials and Lectures

Please find the latest updates by NMIMS University Exams, Lectures and Study Materials with respect to COVID-19.
Lectures and Exams of January 2020 Session
- Academics, Tech and Faculty members collectively have worked out arrangements to ensure Lectures are started again
- We go live with Lectures from April 18, 2020 and continue till end of June
- PG Semester 1 and Semester 2 will operate Weekend and Weekday track (2 tracks)
- Lectures of all the Programs and Semesters will begin from tomorrow
- Sessions will start from where we stopped
- Students can visit Academic Calendar as Sessions will be updated on regular basis every week
- As this is work in progress, Students need not panic if they don’t see session schedule for upcoming weeks/months
- Faculties might face bandwidth issues during the sessions, forcing them to stop video streaming during live session
- Term End exams have been planned in the month of July for all the Students and there will be no exams in June
- Detailed information will be shared later so that students have enough time for preparation
- Sessions of the previous cycle are made available under “Last Cycle Recordings” and “Session Videos”
- Assignments for January 2020 Session are live and the last date for the same is June 30, 2020

April 2020 Resit Exams Registration and Assignments
- April 2020 Resit Exams Form for Refund / Carry Forward Fee is LIVE
- This notification applies only to those who paid the Fee for April 2020 Resit Exams
- Form will be live until April 10, 23.59 hours with no further extension
- Go to Student Portal – Exams – Exam Registration to access this form
- Once submitted, you cannot make changes to the selection made
- Exam Fees will be carry forward to July 2020 Exam Session if you fail to make the selection
- You will get an Email for acknowledgement and further steps after submitting the form
- Refunds will be processed only after the lockdown ends and will take 20 working days from that day
- There is no partial refund or partial carry forward scenario in this case
- July 2020 Exams dates will be announced in June first week
- You can choose to give your Resit Exams along with your regular Semester Exams in July 2020
- Assignments Submission for April 2020 Resit Exams has been extended to April 04, 2020

- Assignments Results for April 2020 Resit Exams will be published in the last week of May 2020
- April 2020 Resit Assignments Marks will be added to your Term End Exams and you need not submit the Assignments again in July 2020
Delivery of Study Materials or Mark Sheets or any other Shipment
- As a preventive measure to avoid Covid-19 issues our Courier Partners since March 20, 2020 haven’t picked up any Study Kits for delivery
- With recent lock down directives by the Government, they will not report until May 31, 2020

Lecture Updates
Once we resume work, we will ensure query resolution sessions are planned for students for every subject and paced well
Until then you can ask queries by documenting the same under “Ask a Faculty” option on Student Portal and you will receive a response
