Lecture Notification – January 2018 Academic Cycle
Lecture Schedule for January 2018 Academic cycle is uploaded in your Student Portal under Academic Calendar.

Lectures are starting from February 17, 2018 for most of the Courses
Steps to watch Live Lectures online, both in PC as well as Mobile:
1. Go to http://studentzone-ngasce.nmims.edu/studentportal/authenticate from your PC or Mobile Browser, preferably Google Chrome
2. Enter your Student Number and Password and click on Login
3. Click on Academic Calendar
4. Click on the name of the subject on the particular day/time
5. Click on Attend Session which will be activated 55-60 minutes before the scheduled lecture time
6. When prompted, click on “Join Audio Conference” to enable your audio settings for the lecture
7. To use Mobile Phone for online lectures, kindly download the “Cisco WebEx Meetings” App
8. Once you click on Attend Session, the online lecture will open in Cisco WebEx Meetings App and you are requested to not go through the App directly
Important things for Live Lectures:
i. If the online lectures reach a capacity of 200 participants, you will be given options to attend parallel sessions
ii. There would be 2 – 3 parallel sessions to attend which will be on first-come-first-serve basis
iii. You are requested to attend the lectures well in advance to avoid being missed out
iv. If for some error or issue, you are not able to attend the lectures, you can watch recording of the same which will be made available in 3 working days in your Student Zone
Please see that:
a. Good internet connectivity is highly recommended
b. All sessions are mapped under Student Portal — Academic Calendar
c. Lecture recordings will be uploaded within 72 hours post commencement of live lectures
d. Recordings cannot be viewed on Mobile Phones
e. You need to download nbr2 player (for arf format) from https://www.webex.co.in/support/play-webex-recording.html to view the recorded lectures (in arf format) on your PC
Cause: It is because you did not click on “Join Audio Conference” option after clicking Attend Session button.
Solution: Log off from Student Zone, log in again and do not forget to click on “Join Audio Conference” option
Automatically logging off or Session expired:
Cause: It is a browser/cache issue
Solution: Use Google Chrome, change the password from Quick Links option, log off from Student Zone, clear cache and history from your browser and log in again
Cause: Only 200 participants allowed per session
Solution: You can watch recording of the lectures after 3 days
URL or Meeting Number needed:
Cause: You are directly going to WebEx website or WebEx App
Solution: Do not go through WebEx directly and follow the steps as it is from above after which URL or Meeting Number won’t be needed
