Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), located in Mullana, Haryana, India, was established in 1993 by Sh. Tarsem Garg. It is a deemed-to-be university that has received UGC approval for online education.

MMU began as a higher education institution offering undergraduate programs, but it has since expanded to offer a wide range of courses across a variety of disciplines, including online, offline, and distance learning modes.

MMU also has a dedicated center for distance and online education, which is responsible for all aspects of the university’s online and distance education programs.
